How much does it cost to participate ?
Our sport programs are free of charge - thanks to the generous donations from private parties, local organizations and town leagues.
What forms are required in order to participate?
Athletes: Each athlete in a Special Olympics program is required to have an up-to-date MEDICAL FORM on file with his/her program director, coach and state office prior to training for a sport. This medical is valid for 3 years.
Volunteers: Each volunteer is required to have a DIRECT SERVICE VOLUNTEER APPLICATION (DSV form) on file with his/her program director and state office. This form is valid for 3 years.
